Ok. So my roommate is a medium and practicing Wiccan. She routinely sages and blesses her section of the house but has thus far left my wing alone.

Last night something woke her and she felt an energy in the house. She got up, searched the home and found my room to be the only room she was unable to enter. Coincidentally, me and my pup both had a terrible nights sleep and my pup was so anxious this morning he wouldn’t eat (very out of character for him).

My roommate suggested I sage at least my room. Do I believe in all the Wicca stuff? Eh, not really. Am I confident enough in that belief to risk being the main character of Insidious: Chapter 4? HECK NO! You bet your booty I saged my house when I got off work!

So, I know I’ve opened up to a lot of you about my recent divorce. But for those of you who don’t know—I’ve spent the last eight years taking care of an alcoholic. Most recently, he was a voice actor (in the loosest sense of the phrase). I’ve spent the last four months taking my house back and making it mine. His office/recording booth is the last area I need to make my own. At first when I started taking all the sound proofing off the walls I thought “fuck—there go my walls!” But then I realized I already have everything I need to add texture (which the walls were missing to begin with) AND I have the knowledge to make this so much better than it was before. Sometimes you need to get kicked around to appreciate the glow up! I hope you’re all having a wonderful day and you feel strong and wonderful—because you are! No matter what life has thrown you , you are a beautiful human who is making it work. 😘😘
